Day 1 : Phnom Penh

Visit the main monuments of the city with the cyclo.

Boat trips for sunset on the river and tasting of an original and modern Khmer cuisine.

 

Day 2 : Phnom Penh

Visit the Khmer rouge genocide museum located in the former S-21 prison.

Visit unknown parts of the city, through the eyes of an architecture.

 

Day 3 : Phnom Penh / Prek Changran village

Road to Prek Changran, a weaving village which silk is known throughout the country.

Presentation of the cambodian weaving techniques and ride in the surrounding countryside. Overnight by the inhabitants.

 

Day 4 : Prek Changran village / Snuol / Sen Monorom  

Road to Mondulkiri highlands, surreal landscape of pine forests, jungle and mountain pasture.

Meeting with a group of villagers who organizes patrols to protect the nearby forests.

 

Day 5 : Sen Monorom and Mondolkiri

Discover the region, land of Phnong ethnic group. Walk in the forest with elephants.

Visit villages and meet the Phnong ethnic people.

 

Day 6 : Sen Monorom / Kratie and Koh Pdao Island

Road to Kratie and the plain of the Mekong River.

We are welcomed by the villagers, on Koh Pdao island.

 

Day 7 : Koh Pdao Island

A day to relax and discover the daily life of the inhabitants of the island.

Bike ride through the rice fields and along the Mekong river.

 

Day 8 : Koh Pdao Island / Kampong Cham 

Ride a boat to see the last freshwater dolphins.

Visit Kratie and Chlong, small river ports that developed with the trade of timber and latex.

 

Day 9 : Kampong Cham /Siem Reap and Angkor

Road to Siem Reap and Angkor Wat archaeological park.

Visit pre-Angkorian site of Sambor Prei Kuk.

Checkin in the guest rooms of Salabai hotel and restaurant school.

 

Day 10 : Siem Reap and Angkor Wat archaeological park.

Walks in Angkor park to discover some of the main temples.
Lunch in a popular hangout of the Cambodians, near Angkor Wat.

 

Day 11 : Siem Reap and Angkor Wat archaeological park.

Breakfast in front of Angkor Wat temple and visit at the most beautiful time of the day. Walk in the forest that covers Angkor Thom, visit other temples ...

Lunch at a family house in the village of Sra Srang, an opportunity to meet the inhabitants of the Park.

 

Day 12 : Siem Reap and the floating village of Tonle Sap lake

A day in the floating villages of the Tonle Sap Lake to meet the inhabitants living in the flooded forests.

Visit the bird sanctuary of Prek Toal and boat ride through the village.
