We’ll venture beyond a simple visit of the famous Khouang Si waterfalls of Luang Prabang.
Together with inhabitants of Tha pene, a village below the falls, we’ll walk in their forests to gather seasonal plants to cook.
About this tour
Day 1
Drive to Tha Pene village;
We’ll venture with local inhabitants into the mountains and in neighboring forests in search of food;
Preparation and food tasting around a fire of what we’ve gathered;
A visit to the Kuang Si waterfalls and a swim in its turquoise waters ;
Meeting with village heads and visit the projects established with "tourism and solidarity" funds;
Dinner and overnight stay in a guest house in the village.
Day 2
After breakfast, free time to enjoy and return to Luang Prabang city.
