Back from Cambodia, the land of smiles.
What a beautiful country, and the people are so kind!!
Robert from Solidarasia organized our trip exactly how we like it. This is the third time he’s organized our stays, and he knows what we enjoy doing. We were thrilled.
First, he found us another exceptional guide: Proeun, someone who loves his country and especially its cuisine.
He introduced us to families where the welcome was incredible: we were invited to a lively, joyful, and dancing Khmer wedding.
The temples and pagodas are magnificent, Angkor Wat of course, but also the Women’s Temple, which is exceptionally beautiful.
The country markets live up to their promise with their vibrant aromas and colorful characters—a real delight. The Valley of the Elephants, where the pachyderms are cared for, is a place of rest and retirement for these working animals. They are truly impressive. Long walks with the local farmer, fishing in the river—all of this fosters connections, sharing, and an understanding of traditions. Don’t hesitate to opt for a Khmer massage, or two or three…
