A short description
This is an unusual trip we offer in northern Vietnam, a discovery of fantastic landscapes and people who are still isolated.
Welcomed by villagers in the famous mountains of the north or in the plains of Tonkin, the population is happy and proud to be discovered by those who stop for a visit.
And, as few dare to do, we discover Halong Bay starting from the northern coast, stopping over the islands of the South China Sea and their wild beaches.
About this tour
Day 1 : Hanoi
Walk in the city, discover the main monuments and unusual neighborhoods.
Culinary discoveries in the streets of the city.
Day 2 : Hanoi / Ngoc Son Natural reserve
Road to the mountains of the "Muong" people. Hike through the nature reserve of Ngoc Son and meet with the villagers.
Overnight by the inhabitants.
Day 3 : Ngoc Son Natural reserve
A day with the villagers to share some activities of their daily life.
Day 4 : Ngoc Son Natural reserve / Ninh Binh
Road to Ninh Binh region and discover the famous Karst scenery around.
Day 5 : Ninh Binh
A relaxing day in the landscapes of Karts mountains. Bike and boat ride.
Day 6 : Ninh Binh / Hai Duong
Road through the plains of Tonkin.
Meet students and their teachers in the city of Hai Duong.
Day 7: Hai Duong / Cai Rong
Road to Bai Tu Long Bay, the unknown sister of famous Halong Bay.
Rest by the sea, in a typical harbour of these regions.
Day 8 : Cai Rong / Ngoc Vung Island
Boat ride through the rocky peaks of Bai Tu Long Bay, until we reach the island of Ngoc Vung.
Stay with a local family of the island.
Day 9 : Ngoc Vung Island / Halong bay
Ride the boat until we reach the famous sights of Halong Bay.
Overnight on the boat.
Day 10: Halong Bay / Hanoi
Discover more of this wonderful site and drive back to Hanoi.
