Inle lake and the Pa-O mountains
Stay with the Pa-O people in the mountains around the Inle lake, learn about Parami association
A short description
Step out a bit from the Inle Lake region, already so full of tourists, and go to the mountains, to meet the Pa-O ethnic group. The Pa-O were at war against the Rangoon government. For 20 years, they have chosen peace. This allowed them to keep control of this small area of Myanmar, self-administering it. With Parami, the Pa-O association dedicated to social issues of the population, we will go and meet the mountain people.
