We limit the number of participants to 6 people per trip. In the case of already setup groups, we can welcome up to 8 people. To preserve the special atmosphere and authenticity of the encounters, we organize these trips less than 12 times a year.

The goal of these travels is to give local people the opportunity to express themselves by welcoming us as their guests. Most of the persons, who welcome us on the trip, are not tourism professionals. The local population, without complying with all the expectations of foreign travelers, will keep its authenticity and pride.

Guests are encouraged to approach these journeys with an open mind and a respectful attitude, recognizing that hosts may not always meet the exact expectations of foreign travelers. Instead, visitors are invited to appreciate the honesty, pride, and authenticity that locals bring to every interaction. Whether it’s sharing a meal, participating in traditional activities, or simply listening to stories, each encounter fosters mutual understanding and cultural exchange.

By keeping the groups small and the trips limited, we ensure that every participant has the chance to connect meaningfully with local people while enjoying a relaxed, immersive experience. This careful balance allows travelers to witness traditions as they truly are and helps support local communities in a respectful, sustainable way. Every trip becomes more than just a journey—it’s a personal encounter with culture, history, and human connection that leaves a lasting impact.

Why Small-Group Cultural Trips Offer Authentic Local Experiences?

Small-group cultural trips provide a unique way to experience local life authentically. By limiting participants to 6–8 guests, travelers enjoy personalized interactions with local communities and gain insights into traditions, daily routines, and cultural practices. Most hosts are not professional guides, which preserves the genuineness of every encounter. These trips prioritize meaningful connections, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the culture while respecting local customs, making each journey memorable and truly authentic.

We want, during visits, that local people have the leading role.

You will experience their daily lives and discover their country while exchanging with them, trying their cuisine, visiting their homes, talking about their lives…

This is one of the peculiarities of Solidarasia’s trips.

The guide then holds a prominent role, particualrly in these countries where the language barrier is very present.

Tuk-tuk in Bangkok, cyclos of Phnom Penh, line buses, trains, public transports….

You will travel with the local population, when safety standards are acceptable and if that does not handicap the visit. We are listening to your wishes.

The biggest part of the trip is done with transportation adapted to the visit, to the size of the group, meeting international security standards and with experienced drivers. Whenever possible, we favor vehicles whose driver is the owner.
